Fractal

The word FRACTAL means "broken", it was coined by Benoit Mandelbrot in 1975, in his theory of fractals on his book "The Fractal Geometry of Nature", he talks about the geometric expression of the phenomenon of chaos.

Nature produces fractalics forms by CHAOS, for example in the clouds, in the internal structure of the lungs, the leaves of the trees, in the external form of the brain, in the irregularities of coastal edges, among many others.

FRACTALS = Nature, Science and Art

Years ago I start to investigate the possibility of painting fractals without using a computer software. For that, I should avoid copying nature as a human being, because we are already copies of nature.

It is possible to cause to nature and follow through a process using physical, mathematical and chemical reactions. And so it was born the fractal technique!

Fractal Art

The geometric expression of CHAOS is Fractal, the union of the family of non-linear mathematics with physics, chemistry, geometry and visual art. The space and geometry where the phenomenon of chaos works are fractals.

Fractals can occur in tight spaces, but their outlines become so detailed that it would not be possible to produce them with another technique.

Isabel Hernández and Rodolfo Guzmán (ISARO) offer us a bridge between science and art with their fractal technique.

A Bridge between Art and Science

The innovative technique that is expressed in full by fractal figures is called Fractalic Painting. Its inventors, Isabel Hernandez Medina and Rodolfo Guzman Toledano offer with it a bridge between art and science. This painting does not want to move to previous ones, not competing against them, but reinforces them, and giving them a new vision of art.
